"You know, Reed, this measuring device to test my invisibility would make the kookiest hat!"

Storyline

The Mole Man arranges for the neighbors of the Fantastic Four to complain about their activities so they will be interested when they receive an ad for an island that is for sale. When they visit the island, the Mole Man is waiting for them.

Story Notes

The Invisible Girl gains the power to project invisible force fields. Note that this is about a year after Reed's defense of her membership in issue #11 which was a justification of her powers as they were. The image of Sue on the opening splash page was based on a print by Vargas which appeared in Playboy (Playboy, 1953 series) v10#4 (April 1963).
