"Is this really necessary, Stevie?"

Storyline

The New Mutants get acclimated to their new home, new talents, new friends, and new teachers, unaware that they are being watched. Moira learns that Professor X has a son. Psyche is attacked in the Danger Room by an unknown assailant.

Second appearance of the New Mutants (after Marvel Graphic Novel #4). Occurs while the X-Men are in outer space, and Professor X is hosting a Brood embryo (see Uncanny X-Men #162-167). Prof. X's son, Legion, first appears in issue #26. Part 1 of 3. On his YouTube channel, Bill Willingham stated that he ink assisted Mike Gustovich, mostly "filling in the blacks".
