Storyline

At a restaurant and again later at a bus stop, Susan senses a stranger staring at her and approaching her, but each time she looks away and he disappears. That night at her apartment, she is expecting her neighbor to come over, but when she opens the door it is the stranger. His ex-fiance and her ex-fiance had eloped together weeks earlier, and the stranger wanted to meet Susan, hoping to find some answers. Having struggled to get past her earlier relationship, Susan initially wants nothing to do with the stranger.

Storyline

An Air Force sergeant being transferred misses the express when he sees a woman's cool grey eyes in a wedding announcement of the local newspaper while grabbing a cup of coffee. His heart turns back to the time he met her at a U.S.O. dance. He had been haunted by her pleading eyes, but had been unable to return her love then. Now he realizes his mistake and rushes to her address. But when he sees her in her wedding dress he knows if he really loves her, the least he can do is get out of her sight forever.

Storyline

Gail and Richard share a romantic first encounter, but after kissing her on the terrace he tells her not to take the kiss too seriously. She is embarrassed by his words, but they agree be just friends, although she secretly hopes someday it will become more. After being stung by him on several occasions when she tries to show him how she feels, she resolves to never suffer another blow from him. When he finally tells her he loves her, she bursts out laughing as it is against the rules of the game for him to love her.

Storyline

Lana has no trouble attracting men and she tries to help her friend Joan overcome her shyness with men. But when Joan introduces Lana to Troy, their situations are reversed as Lana falls for him immediately and finds she is the shy one. When he finally asks her to dance she tries to explain that she really isn't shy, but he replies that he knows because when he had danced with Joan he discovered Joan really wasn't shy at all. As they finish their dance, he mentions that he hopes she can come to his wedding to Joan.
