Storyline: After Laramie's marshal is shot and killed, Dan Troop comes from Abilene to take the job as marshal in the lawless town. His first task is to get a deputy and the second is to find who killed his predecessor.
Storyline: Len Dawson saves Dan Troop from a landslide, even though Troop and McKay are tracking him for an alleged killing. After bringing Dawson to jail, Troop tries to find evidence that could clear Dawson.
