Storyline: Pony Express rider Craig Garrett judges Indians' intentions by their use of war paint.
Storyline: Garrett is sent to buy horses for the Pony Express. $5,000 in gold has been sent to the Thirty Mile Station to pay for the horses, but bandits steal the money and set fire to the station, leaving evidence that makes it seem that Indians were responsible.
Storyline: Garrett is ambushed on his Pony Express ride across the desert, but the robbers just want his horse, not the mail. Later Garrett goes to Carson City and finds the robbers have entered his horse in a big cross country race.
Storyline: Two Pony Express riders pass each other going in opposite directions, but neither sees the other because both are asleep in the saddle.
Storyline: Rules on being a safe pedestrian.
