Storyline: When one of his best friends is murdered, J. B. Mooney sends Red and Rinty to the site of the murder to investigate.

Storyline: Thieves break into J. B. Mooney's study and steal a red-bound confidential report on his employees to use for blackmail. Mooney suspects his former personnel manager, Brad Pearson, of ringleading the crime and Red and Rinty investigate.
