The Knights go on an expedition to New Orleans in search of doctors, but they receive an unfriendly reception when they arrive.

Story Notes

According to the letter column in Strange Adventures #151, the original artwork for "The King of New Orleans" was presented as a gift to the New Orleans Jazz Museum. H. Clay Wilson, Director of the museum, wrote to thank Editor Julius Schwartz for the story and requested extra copies of the issue to hand out to museum patrons. The museum was originally in the French Quarter and eventually became part of the Louisiana State Museum.
