The Faceless Creature attempts to take revenge on his own planet and the Earth, as well as the two policemen who previously foiled his plans.
The Faceless Creature previously appeared in Strange Adventures #124, next in #153, and still later became a member of the Forgotten Villains in the 1980s.
Professor Ross builds a matter-transmitter that can be used for space exploration instead of space ships, but it threatens to start a chain-reaction that will destroy the Earth unless explorer Alan Pierce can travel to another planet and find Element X, which will stop the process.
