Storyline

A young soldier lied about his age to get into combat (he's only 16) and wants to prove he's worthy of staying with Easy Company.

Story Notes

From the birthdate of the soldier, this story takes place some time in 1943 or 1944. This story is the source of the Roy Lichtenstein painting "Live Ammo (Blang)".

Storyline

Adolf Hitler gives a solid gold eagle to the leader of his finest desert Panzer regiment. A lone American soldier ends up with the eagle by accident and has to fight off the German attempts to recover it.

Canteen That Won an Island!
Storyline

Jim Lucas, a lone Marine on a Pacific island, awaiting a final Japanese attack, writes a note to his son Eddie Lucas and puts it in a canteen and throws it in the ocean. As fate would have it, his son was on a landing craft on the other side of the island that is hit by a mine. The only survivor is Eddie Lucas, who finds the canteen with his name on it and goes on a one-man rampage that reunites him with his father.
