Story Featuring The Star-Spangled Kid
Skyman tells his teammates, Infinty, Inc., about how he and Stripesy met and thwarted some Nazi sympathizers' plans to include dynamite in a fireworks display.
Takes place just after Infinity Inc. #31. Based on the origin story in Star-Spangled Comics #1. Recaps some of the SSK's history with the Seven Soldiers of Victory, the JSA and Infinity Inc.

In 1940, Jay Garrick gains the power of speed after inhaling "hard water fumes" in a college lab accident. As the Flash, he rescues the kidnapped father of Joan Williams.
Based on the story in Flash Comics (DC, 1940 series) #1.
