The Kid is framed for a robbery by a dishonest bank president.
Kid Colt saves a town that was too frightened to even offer him food or shelter.
A greedy rancher's determination to drive out a rival farmer loses him his son and everything else.
An eastern reporter wants to write a story on Kid Colt, but finds his life too boring to be interesting.
Kid Colt claims in this story that Jesse James has "been retired on his farm for the last three years".

A man who wants a horse more than anything else captures a fine black stallion.
