Storyline: Fran had been away for a year out of guilt from leaving her boyfriend for a man who was involved with another girl. Now she's back and is trying to find the courage to call the people involved to ask for their forgiveness.
Storyline: A man on vacation returns to his car after swimming to find a girl sitting in his car. Without a word between them, she kisses him. He gives her a lift back into town where she thanks him for not asking a lot of questions. Then she kisses him again and leaves.
Storyline: Walter's work had kept taking him away for longer periods of time and eventually Gail fell in love with someone else. Now Walter has returned and asks Gail for one hour of her time.
Storyline: When Johnny met Ailsa, they were like two birds with a single wing, always in flight. But when Johnny loses the ability to walk after a car accident, he knows he will lose her to someone else.
