Storyline

While the new Torpedo tries to carry out his mission of making sure that the deadly costume he wears doesn't fall into evil hands, Daredevil simply tries to take him out, thinking he is a villain. When their battle wrecks a quiet suburban home, Daredevil and Torpedo are both horrified by their actions and cease hostilities.

Stan Lee's Soapbox notes that Marv Wolfman is taking over editorship of the color comics from Len Wein, that 7-Eleven will be featuring 60 Marvel characters on their Slurpee cups, and says "Hi" to Terry Gilliam and David and Angela Bowie. In other news, the Marvel softball team is playing teams from other publishing houses, Marvel Special Edition will join Marvel Treasury Editions in the large format, Jack Kirby and Irv Wanatabe are returning to Marvel, Don McGregor appeared on WHBI-FM's "The Big Sim Power Hour Show," Jim and Anne Mooney are parents of a daughter, Nolle, Duffy Vohland and Michele Brand are new editors for the Marvel British weeklies, and Bonnie Smith is now reading and sorting the incoming mail.
