A printing error cover exists, where the cyan and magenta color plates were switched, resulting in a green Thing, and blue skin and pink uniforms on the other team members. Stan's Soapbox discusses why Marvel's stories have been dealing with real issues: civil rights, pollution, campus unrest, etc. In other news, Marvel will publish a 50 cent magazine called Savage Tales, New York University student film-makers shot part of a planned documentary on Herb Trimpe in the Marvel offices, Stan was featured in nationally-televised interview on a CBS-TV morning program (not named), King Kull will be a new comic, and Gardner Fox has joined the bullpen. Also a large spot illustration of "Marvel" flanked by headshots of 12 characters (taken from published art.)
