Adapted from Robert E. Howard story "The Lost Valley of Iskander" When this story, penciled by Chaykin as a 40-pager intended for *Savage Sword of Conan, *was instead used to fill three issues of *Conan the Barbarian, *new pages (including splashes) were penciled by Ernie Chan ([Roy Thomas] 1977, 21; Thomas 2019, 199–200); this issue’s splash appears to be by Chan.
