Bugs and Yosemite Sam engage in a cross-country race from California to New York City for a first prize of $1,000. Bugs has to hop in a pair of "Snyder Sneakers" and Yosemite Sam has to use a "Peter Frick Pogo Stick."

In an effort to look important, Porky tries to convince Cicero that he can call the weatherman and request snow for a weekend outing. (Porky had first read of scientists conducting a cloud-seeding experiment for snow in the area.) The plan works for a while.
