A short lab assistant works on a growth serum to gain a normal man's height. The serum works too well, and he continues to grow so tall his life is endangered when the air becomes too thin to breathe. Just as he is about to black out, the serum wears off, and he is restored to his original height having learned to be satisfied with the way he is.

The US Coast Guard finds an abandoned Soviet submarine. The log book shows that they mistook an alien craft for an experimental American ship and tried to ram it. The aliens boarded the submarine, and the fate of the crew is unknown.

A criminal hears of the invention of a time machine. He robs a bank and then escapes 50 years into the future. Once there, he discovers that under the new world government, US money is useless. The technology of the police makes crime impossible, so he is forced into hard labor to survive.
