"There is something moving in that old burlap bag, Scamp! It's drifting toward us!"
Storyline
Scamp saves abandoned three kittens from drowning in a river full of ice floes. His mistress takes them home, where they begin to innocently take over (as kittens are wont to do). Scamp's devil conscience urges him to chase the kittens away (and even let them drown in a well) before they steal his food and jeopardize his home, while Scamp's angel conscience preaches patience and understanding. What's a displaced pup to do?
Story Notes
New story. Plot puts Scamp in a completely different setting, where he is not with Lady, Tramp, his siblings, and other familiar dogs such as Jock and Trusty but rather in a different home, with a different mistress, where he is the only pet until the kittens show up.
Depicts the (hopefully) outmoded practice of depositing unwanted kittens in a tied-up sack and throwing them in a river.
