Storyline

Max tries to borrow fifty dollars from his boss, Sargon, claiming he can turn it into half a million. Sargon refuses, but a number of crooks overhear his claim and give him $12.50 apiece. Max goes to Piker, the rare map dealer and buys a treasure map. This is the eighth such phony map Piker has sold this day. The crooks turn on themselves, each trying to get the map for themselves. When Sargon sees the map he confirms his suspicions that it is a scam.

Storyline

Cuff Davis comes up with the idea of maintaining a books of alibis. A phonograph record of Cuff talking to a crony is played and his landlady swears to the police that Cuff was at home during the time of a robbery. He takes to his bed with a "sickness alibi". Mr. Terrific discovers his book of alibis and gives both it and Davis himself over to the police.

Storyline

A gang of crooks who are fed up with Wildcat foiling their plans time after time, plan to use Stretch to lure Wildcat into the open, and then capture him. This they do and, for a change, Stretch rescues Wildcat from a garage filling with carbon monoxide.
