Storyline
Luthor discovers that any bullet which has struck Superman's invulnerable body undergoes a spectroscopic alteration which veers it towards becoming Kryptonite. He collects tons of the metal and extracts the deadly substance, then challenges Superman to a duel.

A horse saddle acquired a curse as a jinxed object when a notorious bandit is hanged sitting upon it. In the present day, some townsfolk believe it threw miner Jeb Peters to his death, but Vigilante proves the curse to be a fake by using it on his own steed.
