In an attempt to get Homer Potts, her eastern lawyer uncle, to stay and help her father save his ranch, Cindy Potts has the sheriff put him in jail. But Homer Potts is mistaken for a counterfeiter and is taken by the Billy-Be-Hung gang to their hideout.

Storyline

After recovering the Sea People's canoes from the Waikish, Young Hawk and Little Buck's canoe becomes separated from the others during a storm. They paddle up the Rogue River in Oregon where they abandon their canoe and start eastward up the valley.
