Charlie gets thrown out of a library for laughing while reading funny stories and crying while reading sad stories.

Tackhammer forgets the key to his house. As he and Woody are trying to gain entry, a pair of bank robbers spot them and assume they are burglars. The crooks force Woody and Tackhammer to assist them on a bank robbery.
"Splinter! Knothead! Come in and do your homework."
Woody uses a "Man from Mars" outfit to try to scare the Tigers into reforming.
Knothead and Splinter beg Woody to let them keep a squirrel as a pet.
