This is not the same Congorilla with whom Bill will, by means of a magic ring, eventually be able to mentally inhabit the gorilla body and use it to fight crime and injustice. This gorilla has brown hair and is stated to be much taller than an ordinary gorilla, whereas the later Congorilla is a regular-sized gorilla with golden hair.
